Swedish Massage

50 minutes: $60
90 minutes: $75
120 minutes: $120

Swedish Massage Therapy combines movement and massage to promote relaxation, improve circulation, greater range of motion and decrease muscle tension.   Techniques that are unique to Swedish Massage include effleurage, petrissage and tapotement.  Effleurage is the application of long, gliding strokes to the heart that return venous blood flow and benefit the lymphatics.  Petrissage is a kneading movement that warms the tissue for more specific work while increasing circulation and increasing the supply of nutrients and oxygen to the muscles.  It also decreases muscle tension and restores mobility by decreasing adhesions or knots in the muscle fibers.   Swedish Massage Therapy is performed on a massage table and techniques are applied with the use of oil or lotion.  The client disrobes and is draped with a sheet to maintain safety and privacy.  When all of the standards and techniques of Swedish Massage Therapy are applied the benefit to the client is not only physical but also increases their overall sense of well-being.

Deep Tissue Massage

50 minutes: $60
90 minutes: $75
120 minutes: $120

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep

Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions,

and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to

make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that

plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the

deep tissue during the session.

Shiatsu

50 minutes: $60
90 minutes: $75
120 minutes: $120

Anchored in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Shiatsu Massage is a specific bodywork system that was developed in

Japan in the early twentieth century.  Principles of Fung Shui are used to create a relaxing environment and greater

flow in the bodywork.  The client typically receives Shiatsu massage on a soft mat, allowing the therapist to use body

pressure and dynamic movement while working with the client.  Clients are fully clothed during their massage and oils are

not used.  Working with the client’s breath, the massage therapist will use knowledge of Meridian Points associated with

TCM while using specific softening, stretching and point work techniques to stimulate a greater flow of Chi in the body.

Chi refers to energy or life force in TCM.

Increased flow of Chi can create relaxation, decreased stress, greater energetic balance, increased circulation, improved

range of motion in the joints, as well as decreased joint pain.  Shiatsu massage can also alleviate backache as well as

shoulder and neck stiffness.   Shiatsu massage can result in an increase in vitality as it brings the body into balance.

Whole Body Whole Health

108 minutes: $108
216 minutes: $216

A Customized Massage tailored to your unique needs is created using tools and methods that will benefit your Whole

Body and Health.  Session includes consultation and instruction of Kundalini Yoga techniques that would bring further

benefit to the Manual Therapy applied during the session.  A phone consultation is suggested prior to the session to get a

full assessment to the areas that the client would like to focus on.

Myofascial Therapy

50 minutes: $60

Myofascial Therapy is a technique used to treat injuries and discomfort, reducing pain and increasing range of motion.

Myofascial Therapy differs from other types of massage in that it targets the fascia - the membrane surrounding muscles -

rather than the muscle itself. Since fascia completely encases every muscle in the body, imbalances in the fascia can have

serious effects on your range of motion and comfort level. While other forms of massage can overlook the fascia,

Myofascial Therapy focuses specifically on releasing tension in this important membrane.  This service includes a full

assessment of areas of concern with a focus on postural devation and evaluation of range of motion.

Thai Massage

50 minutes: $60
90 minutes: $75
120 minutes: $120

Thai massage is more energizing and rigorous than most other forms of massage therapy. It's also called Thai

Yoga massage, because I use my hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like postures and stretches.

My clients say Thai massage is like doing yoga without doing any of the work. No oil is applied, so you are fully dressed

during the session. A single Thai massage session will help you release stress and relieve pain, and help you function more

effectively at work and home.

Sports Massage

50 minutes: $60
90 minutes: $75
120 minutes: $120

Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh

on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and

prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase

flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of

an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune

function.

Pregnancy Massage

50 minutes: $60

Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's

body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially

developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout

pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and

postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.

in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another

benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing.   Chair massage sessions are usually 15 minutes in

length making it convenient enough to fit into a busy schedule.  Regular Chair Massage in your workplace will create a

relaxed work environment, increased productivity and is great for office morale.

Kundalini Yoga

60 minutes: $60
90 minutes: $90
90 minutes: Group rate $108

The word Yoga means union, and this belief is central to any practice.  That union can be applied to multiple meanings,

just as Yoga can be practiced for a wide range of goals.  Yoga has the power to unite us with whatever we want: better

body strength, weight loss, stress relief, physical and emotional healing and spiritual growth.  Whatever you put into your

practice is what you will get out of it.  Yoga works to connect us to our higher self, to find our higher self, to find a bridge

between the ego and our spirit which gives us access to our highest potential.  Kundalini is considered a Raja Yoga , which

in Sanskrit translates to "chief, best of its kind" as it brings four aspects of Yoga together; posture/mudra, mantra,

meditation and breath.   The use of these four aspects of a Kundalini Yoga practice allows for an experience of the Yoga at

this fullest potential.  Considered a householder's Yoga, Kundalini is meant for those who live a standard/normal

life; career, kids, spouse.  It is meant to give the maximum result in the shortest amount of time.

Kundalini teaches us that we have an infinite source of energy or power, our "Kundalini Energy".  The energy is located at

the base of our spine and it is an untapped resource.  Kundalini Yoga is designed to access this energy, tap into that

potential and allow the energy to move freely throughout the body.
